Alan November discusses how in the past young adults contributed to their local community by working many different jobs and making an impact on in their community. Today our youth's job is to go to school and prepare for their future, but this doesn't mean they still can't contribute in some way. Alan does a great job giving examples of how students can prepare for their future by building future tech and collaboration skills, but he also adds that we can develop community projects (the work) where students can contribute to their local community. It is a great concept, one that I think our students would enjoy and feel a sense of pride in.
