"How to Google" Update - Great Chrome Extensions

Google Chrome supports dozens of features that allow you to easily customize your online experience, including extensions that support education, productivity, and communication. Visit the Chrome Web Store by opening a new tab in your browser.

1. Screen Capture by Google
Capture visible content of a tab, a region of a web page, or the whole page as a JPEG or PNG image. You can also edit your captured image before saving it to your computer. Highlighting, redacting and adding text are supported.

2. Slide Rocket
An online presentation platform that lets users create, manage, share, and measure presentations. SlideRocket defines a new way to create stunning presentations that deliver lasting impressions and measurable results. Add SlideRocket to your Chrome tab and get started making great presentations today.

3. Largedocument.com
Sending a file by email is problematic with today's aggressive filters and file size limitations. LargeDocument.com is designed to allow people to easily and securely send multiple large files. Upload files up to 8 GB. Largedocument creates the upload URL before the file is uploaded which allows you to send the file before the upload is complete.

4. Google Dictionary
View definitions easily as you browse the Web. With this extension, you can:
  • Double-click any word to view its definition in a small pop-up bubble.
  • View the complete definition of any word or phrase using the toolbar dictionary.
  • Foreign words are automatically translated to your language of choice.

5. IE Tab (Internet Explorer Emulator)
Displays web pages using IE within Chrome. It exactly emulates IE by using the IE rendering engine directly within Chrome. This is useful for interacting with older websites that are not yet supporting Google Chrome and other newer browsers.
