Putting the Pieces Together

The student who struggles with reading and spelling often puzzles teachers and parents. The student displays average to above average ability to learn in the absence of print and receives the same class room instruction that benefits most children; however, the student continues to struggle with some or all of the many facets of reading and spelling. The student may be a student with dyslexia.

The Navasota ISD Dyslexia Services Committee has produced this newsletter to assist parents, teachers, and students in better understanding dyslexia and its characteristics. This newsletter will be an ongoing resource that will contain separate parent, teacher, and student sections to help address a wide array of topics. We will work to provide you with the newest and most updated information, and feedback will always be welcome. Thank you for visiting, and we’re thankful to have you as a part of the Navsaota ISD community!

See the Navasota ISD Website for more information regarding Navasota ISD Dyslexia services.
