Navasota ISD Education Foundation Spring Awards

High Point Elementary teacher Teri Mattern receives an
Education Foundation grant for an iPad integration program. 
The Navasota ISD Education Foundation awarded more than $33,000 in grants to teachers during its spring distribution walk April 3. Funded projects included "Sports Medicine Technology", "Chromebooks for Spanish", and "Blue Pelican Math" at Navasota High School; an iPad integration program at High Point Elementary; and a conference for junior high school teachers developing professional learning communities to facilitate professional growth and learning. The Education Foundation awards grant requests once in the fall and once in the spring of each school year. More than $400,000 dollars have been awarded to Navasota ISD teachers through the foundation since its inception in 2003.
